Going Beyond Beauty: Scrubd’s Commitment to Giving Back

At Scrubd Esthetics, we believe beauty runs deeper than what we see on the surface. It’s about connection, confidence, and community. This season, we’re proud to partner with Sojourner House, a Pittsburgh organization that provides recovery services and housing for mothers and their children.

As we close out the year and look ahead to 2026, we’re inviting our Scrubd community to help us share a little light.

Lending a Hand, Sharing the Love with Sojourner House

Sojourner House and Sojourner House MOMS (Mentoring, Opportunity, Motivation, Spirituality) provide compassionate, faith-based residential recovery services for mothers and children in the Pittsburgh area.

Their mission is powerful, by helping women living with substance use disorder heal, rebuild, and break intergenerational cycles of addiction, all while keeping their children close.

Here are a few realities that show why Sojourner House’s mission matters so deeply:

• About 1 in 8 Americans lives with a substance use disorder.
  
  
• Children of parents with a substance use disorder are four times more likely to develop one themselves.
  
  
• Many mothers delay seeking help out of fear of losing their children.
  
  

Sojourner House creates a safe space where mothers can focus on recovery, strengthen family bonds, and build brighter futures surrounded by what matters most, their children.

Why This Matters to Us

Giving back is at the heart of the Scrubd brand. We believe every woman deserves the opportunity to feel cared for, restored, and confident, both inside and out.

Supporting Sojourner House allows us to extend that philosophy beyond our medspa doors. These women are the definition of strength and resilience, and we’re honored to help add a touch of care to their journey.

How You Can Help

This season, we’re collecting self-care donations for the women of Sojourner House. Simply bring in one of your favorite beauty must-haves, think skincare essentials, lip balm, masks, or other pampering items and we’ll include it in our self-care bags for the shelter.

As a thank-you, you’ll receive one month of our Club Scrubd membership FREE in January. It’s our way of helping you start the new year off right, refreshed, intentional, and connected to something bigger.
