Frequently Asked Questions
EyeBright™ is a specialized laser rejuvenation protocol designed exclusively for the delicate eye area. It combines Pico Toning for pigment correction and brightness, ProDeep® or MLA for collagen stimulation and tightening, and DualMode Resurfacing to smooth fine lines and texture. By layering these technologies, EyeBright™ brightens dark circles, reduces crow’s feet, and firms sagging lids for a refreshed, youthful look.
After cleansing and prepping, protective eye shields are applied. The provider then delivers a customized sequence of laser energies around the orbital area. Sessions typically last 30–40 minutes, depending on the areas being treated. You’ll finish with hydration and SPF applied around the eyes.
Downtime varies based on the intensity of treatment. Lighter sessions may leave the eyes pink and puffy for 1–2 days, while deeper resurfacing can involve peeling, flaking, or redness for up to 5–7 days.
Aftercare includes:
- Gentle cleansing and hydration of the treated area
- Cool compresses or vinegar soaks if deeper resurfacing was performed
- Strict daily SPF and sunglasses to protect healing skin
- Avoiding makeup, heat, and sweating until cleared by your provider
This treatment is ideal for patients who want to improve:
- Dark circles and under-eye pigmentation
- Fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes (crow’s feet)
- Lax or sagging upper and lower lids
- Crepey or thinning skin around the eyes
- Dullness and loss of brightness in the eye area
The eye area is sensitive, so you may feel more intensity here than on other parts of the face. Patients typically describe the sensation as warmth with light snapping. To ensure comfort, topical numbing is applied before treatment, and most patients tolerate it well.
Patients often notice brighter, smoother eyes after the first treatment, with progressive tightening and firming over the next 2–3 months as collagen builds. For best results, a series of 2–3 sessions is recommended, followed by yearly maintenance. Results are long-lasting with proper sun protection and skincare.
